We’re right in the CBD, just moments from Darling Harbour, and surrounded by some of Sydney’s most iconic sights.

The hotel sits within Sydney’s historic warehouse district and offers beautiful views across Darling Harbour. As you arrive, you’ll notice the striking heritage features next door and a unique public art display that lights up the brick façade at night — it’s a lovely introduction to the area. Inside, the lobby feels calm and welcoming, and our team is on hand 24 hours a day to make check-in easy and help you settle in straight away.

The suites are spacious, stylish and fully equipped, giving you plenty of room to relax in privacy after a busy day exploring the city. When you’re not out and about, guests really enjoy unwinding in the indoor pool, spa and sauna, or keeping active in the fitness centre. It’s a great balance of comfort and convenience.

Step outside and you can easily walk to Queen Victoria Building, Pitt Street Mall, Town Hall Station and Barangaroo Reserve. Circular Quay, the Opera House and Harbour Bridge are also within easy reach, and the light rail makes getting around even simpler. If you’d like to explore like a local, a ferry ride across the harbour is a must.

Studio Suites are 35 square metres. 1 Bedroom Suites are 40 square metres. 1 Bedroom Darling Suites are 59 square metres. 2 Bedroom Suites are 81 square metres. 2 Bedroom Darling Suites are 108 square metres. 3 Bedroom City Suites are 105 square metres. 3 Bedroom Darling Suites are 121 square metres. 1 Bedroom Accessible Suites are 52 square metres. 3 Bedroom Darling Penthouse is 187 square metres.

• The balcony styles do vary, with some being fully open-air and others fully enclosed for added comfort.
• Studio Suites and 1 Bedroom Suites do not have bathtubs; they have shower-only bathrooms. Some 2 Bedroom Suites and 2 Bedroom Darling Suites also feature a bathtub. All 3 Bedroom Suites and Penthouses come with a bathtub.
• All suite types - with the exception of our Studio Suites and Penthouses - have a study desk.

Parking

• Once reception validates your ticket, you’ll be able to come and go as you like during your stay. It’s valid for one vehicle and just needs to be used in order each time you enter and exit.
• Vehicle size restrictions are 2.2 metres in height, 2.1 metres in width, 5 metres in length, and a maximum weight of 2.7 tonnes. We do recommend checking the signage at the entrance for any specific height restrictions.
• The car park at this hotel is accessed via a vehicle lift. Onsite undercover parking is available for $50 per vehicle, per night, should you wish to add it to your stay.
• Unfortunately, this hotel does not currently offer an EV charging station onsite. Our Front Desk team will be happy to assist you in locating charging facilities nearby. Alternatively, if you have an EV charging app, it should be able to show you the closest charging station to the hotel.
• The car park at this hotel is accessed via a vehicle lift. Onsite undercover parking is available for $60 per vehicle, per night. Vehicle entry is located on Druitt Place, with a maximum clearance of 2.2 metres. Please note that all vehicles must use the car lift to access the parking area. Vehicle size restrictions are 2.2 metres in height, 2.1 metres in width, 5 metres in length, and a maximum weight of 2.7 tonnes. Parking attendants are available at the car park entrance to assist with entry between 9 am and 5 pm daily. If you require access outside of these hours, please contact the hotel staff for assistance.
• There is street parking available on Sussex Street outside the hotel, however there are clearway restrictions during the morning and evening peak periods, so guests should always check the local signage.
• You’ll find the car park entrance via Druitt Place.

Pool and wellness

• Don’t forget to pack your swimwear, as each one of our properties has an indoor heated swimming pool, spa and sauna. Our Broadbeach, Southport and Surfers Paradise hotels on the Gold Coast, as well as our Church Street hotel in Parramatta also feature an additional outdoor pool and sun deck.
• We offer one swimming pool at the hotel - an indoor, heated pool available for guests to enjoy year-round.
• complimentary towels are provided in the pool area for your comfort and convenience.
• Our swimming pool is approximately 17.3 metres in length and is located on Level 4.
• our pool is heated to a comfortable 27 degrees Celsius for your enjoyment.

Gym

• Our gym is open 24 hours a day.
• The gym is located on Level 4 and includes equipment such as treadmills, an elliptical trainer, exercise bikes, machine weights and free weights.

Facilities

• During your stay, you will have access to our indoor pool, spa, sauna, and gym.
• We always aim to keep our photos and descriptions up to date, however facilities can sometimes be upgraded, changed, or temporarily unavailable. If there’s something important to you, it’s best to check with the hotel before booking to ensure it will be available during your stay. Subject to Australian Consumer Law, Meriton Suites isn’t liable for changes or temporary unavailability of facilities, and not all facilities apply to every suite type.

Getting around and local area

If you’re looking for dining options nearby, there are many great restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. Prefecture 48 is a nearby complex featuring six Japanese restaurants and bars. You’ll also find Avenue on Sussex close by.

In Darling Quarter, there are several popular dining venues including Darling Pavilion, Doodee King, Ichoume, MuMiam and Vesta Italian. Darling Harbour is also just a short walk away and offers a wide range of restaurants including Nick’s Seafood, Baia The Italian, Adria and I’m Angus Steakhouse.

The closest coffee shop is Luxe 8 Café and Bar, which is located right next door to the hotel. Another nearby option is Nevaggio Café, located across the road in Darling Park.

If you’re looking for a convenience store, Quikstop is located on the corner of Druitt Street and Sussex Street.

The closest bottle shop is Sussex Cellars, located at 170 Sussex Street.

Laundry

Yes, this service is available for an additional charge, depending on the items. It is a same-day service, operating Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Items must be dropped at Reception by 9 am and will be returned by 5 pm.
