The suites themselves are wonderfully spacious and designed for comfort, with openable windows, in-suite coffee machines, free unlimited Wi-Fi and STAYCAST™ streaming. It’s a lovely space to unwind after a busy day in the city. For something extra special, our multi-level Penthouse Collection suites offer stunning city views and an elevated Sydney experience.

Location-wise, you couldn’t be better placed. We’re right in the Sydney CBD, just a short walk to World Square Shopping Centre, Hyde Park and Town Hall Station, making it easy to explore the city or travel for work. From here, you can wander to Pitt Street Mall, the Queen Victoria Building, or continue on to Circular Quay to see the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

Each suite has a maximum number of guests permitted to stay overnight, based on existing bedding configurations, as outlined below:

• One Bedroom Suites: up to 2 guests
• One Bedroom Altitude Suites: up to 2 guests
• Two Bedroom Suites: up to 4 guests
• Two Bedroom Altitude Suites: up to 4 guests
• Two Bedroom Darling Suites: up to 4 guests
• Three Bedroom Altitude Suites: up to 6 guests
• Penthouse Collection Suites: up to 6 guests

Studio Suites are 38 square metres. Studio Balcony Suites are 42 square metres. 1 Bedroom Suites are 50 square metres. 1 Bedroom Altitude Suites are 47 square metres. 2 Bedroom Suites are 87 square metres. 2 Bedroom Altitude Suites are 90 square metres. 2 Bedroom Darling Suites are 93 square metres. 3 Bedroom Altitude Suites are 147 square metres. 3 Bedroom Summit Penthouse is 215 square metres.

• The balcony styles do vary, with some being fully open-air and others fully enclosed for added comfort.
• Our Studio, One Bedroom, and Two Bedroom Suites may feature one of the following: a shower over bath, a separate shower and bath, or in some cases, a walk-in shower only. The exact layout can vary from suite to suite. All of our Penthouses, however, are beautifully appointed with a separate walk-in shower and a standalone bath, offering that extra touch of comfort and luxury.
• Study desks are provided in all suite types except for our Studio suites.

Parking

• Once reception validates your ticket, you’ll be able to come and go as you like during your stay. It’s valid for one vehicle and just needs to be used in order each time you enter and exit.
• The car park has a clearance of 2.1 metres. We do recommend checking the signage at the entrance for any specific height restrictions.
• Onsite parking is available at $45 per vehicle, per night, should you wish to add it to your stay.
• Unfortunately, this hotel does not currently offer an EV charging station onsite. Our Front Desk team will be happy to assist you in locating charging facilities nearby. Alternatively, if you have an EV charging app, it should be able to show you the closest charging station to the hotel.
• we do have onsite parking available for our hotel guests.
• There is limited street parking available nearby on Kent Street. This parking is typically managed by City of Sydney parking meters and may have time restrictions, so guests should check the local signage when parking.
• You’ll find the car park entrance on Kent Street.

Pool and wellness

• Don’t forget to pack your swimwear, as each one of our properties has an indoor heated swimming pool, spa and sauna. Our Broadbeach, Southport and Surfers Paradise hotels on the Gold Coast, as well as our Church Street hotel in Parramatta also feature an additional outdoor pool and sun deck.
• We offer one swimming pool at the hotel - an indoor, heated pool available for guests to enjoy year-round.
• complimentary towels are provided in the pool area for your comfort and convenience.
• our pool is heated to a comfortable 27 degrees Celsius for your enjoyment.
• Our swimming pool is approximately 20 metres in length and is located on Level 15. It is open to guests from 5am until 10pm daily.

Gym

• Our gym is open 24 hours a day. The gym is located on Level 15 and includes a range of equipment such as cardio machines, strength machines and free weights.
• Our gym is fully equipped with a range of cardio machines, including treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, and rowing machines, along with weight machines and free weights.

Facilities

• Should you arrive early and your suite is still being prepared, you’re welcome to make use of our Early Arrivals Lounge. It’s a comfortable area where you can relax and enjoy tea or coffee while you wait.
• During your stay, you will have access to our indoor pool, spa, sauna, and gym.
• We always aim to keep our photos and descriptions up to date, however facilities can sometimes be upgraded, changed, or temporarily unavailable. If there’s something important to you, it’s best to check with the hotel before booking to ensure it will be available during your stay. Subject to Australian Consumer Law, Meriton Suites isn’t liable for changes or temporary unavailability of facilities, and not all facilities apply to every suite type.

Getting around and local area

If you’re looking for dining options nearby, there are many restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. The Meriton Retail Precinct on George Street offers a variety of international cuisines, including Japanese, Korean and Chinese, as well as cafés, coffee, drinks and frozen yoghurt options. Other nearby dining venues include Sanctuary Hotel, Macchiato Wood Fire Pizza and Coffee Roasters, The Albion Place, Prik Thai, Darling Pavilion at Darling Harbour, and The Belvedere Hotel.

The closest coffee shop is Incanto Café, which is located right next to the hotel entrance.

If you’re looking for a convenience store, Allied Mart Tobacconist is located at 505 George Street, just a short walk from the hotel.

The nearest bottle shop is Liquorland Sydney World Square Express, located in the World Square shopping centre, which is less than a three-minute walk away.

For pharmacy services, you’ll find both Chemist Warehouse on George Street and Priceline Pharmacy in World Square, both located within about a three-minute walk from the hotel.

If you’d like to visit a pub for a drink, the 3 Monkeys Bar at Albion Place Hotel is located right next to the hotel.

The closest supermarket is Coles, located inside the World Square shopping centre, which is approximately a five-minute walk from the hotel.

Laundry

Yes, this service is available for an additional charge, depending on the items. It is a same-day service, operating Monday, Wednesday and Friday only. Items must be dropped at Reception by 9 am and will be returned by 5 pm.
