About this hotel

If you enjoy staying right in the heart of the action, Meriton Suites Campbell Street is a really lovely option. We’re located in vibrant Haymarket, directly opposite the iconic Capitol Theatre and surrounded by the incredible food scene of Chinatown, Thai Town and Koreatown. It’s a lively area with plenty happening day and night, and guests absolutely love the energy of the neighbourhood.

From here, everything is wonderfully convenient. Central Station, the light rail and metro are all close by, making it easy to move around the city for work or sightseeing. You can stroll through Paddy’s Markets on your way to Darling Harbour, or head to the ICC Sydney or nearby theatres and event venues. You’re only minutes from the CBD, but still very much immersed in a character-filled local precinct.

The suites themselves are modern, spacious and fully self-contained, designed to feel like a comfortable home away from home. Each one includes a full kitchen, in-suite laundry and free unlimited Wi-Fi, along with plenty of natural light and a plush king-sized bed. After a busy day, guests really appreciate unwinding with the KEVIN MURPHY bathroom amenities. There’s a great choice of studio and one-bedroom suites, including balcony and higher-level options with lovely city views.

When you’re not out exploring, you’re welcome to relax in the indoor pool, spa or sauna, or keep up your routine in the gym. And if you need anything at all, our friendly Guest Services team is available 24 hours a day to help make your stay easy and enjoyable.

Each suite has a maximum number of guests permitted to stay overnight, based on existing bedding configurations, as outlined below:

• Studio Cube Suites: up to 2 guests
• One Bedroom Suites: up to 2 guests
• One Bedroom Accessible Suites: up to 2 guests
• One Bedroom Balcony Suites: up to 2 guests
• One Bedroom Balcony Sky Suites: up to 2 guests

Studio Suites are 36 square metres. Studio Cube Suites are 39 square metres. 1 Bedroom Suites are 47 square metres. 1 Bedroom Balcony Suites are 54 square metres. 1 Bedroom Balcony Sky Suites are 56 square metres. 1 Bedroom Accessible Suites are 60 square metres.

Studio Suites located on levels 8 to 38. Studio Cube Suites located on levels 8 to 10. 1 Bedroom Suites located on levels 8 to 11. 1 Bedroom Balcony Suites located on levels 12 to 23. 1 Bedroom Balcony Sky Suites located on levels 24 to 39. 1 Bedroom Accessible Suites located on level 14.

• Our Studio Suites, Studio Cube Suites, and One Bedroom Suites do not have balconies. However, you will find a balcony included in our One Bedroom Balcony Suites, One Bedroom Balcony Sky Suites, and One Bedroom Accessible Suites - perfect if you’re looking to enjoy some outdoor space during your stay.
• Bathtubs are only available in some of our 1 Bedroom Balcony Sky Suites.
• Select suites offer a study desk, while all suites will include a dining table suitable for working.

Parking

• Please refer to our Guest Services Team for information about after-hours access, if required.
• Once reception validates your ticket, you’ll be able to come and go as you like during your stay. It’s valid for one vehicle and just needs to be used in order each time you enter and exit.
• The car park has a clearance of 2.1 metres. We do recommend checking the signage at the entrance for any specific height restrictions.
• Onsite parking is available at $50 per vehicle, per night, should you wish to add it to your stay.
• Unfortunately, this hotel does not currently offer an EV charging station onsite. Our Front Desk team will be happy to assist you in locating charging facilities nearby. Alternatively, if you have an EV charging app, it should be able to show you the closest charging station to the hotel.
• we do have on-site parking for guests. The car park is accessed via a car lift, and our parking attendants are there from 10 am to 8 pm daily to help you with entry. You’ll just need to provide your vehicle registration number when you arrive. There are vehicle size limits of 2.1 metres high, 2.3 metres wide, 5.6 metres long, and a maximum weight of 3 tonnes.
• There is some limited street parking available in the surrounding streets, however it is subject to local council restrictions and availability, so guests should always check the signage.
• You’ll find the car park entrance on Cunningham Street.

Pool and wellness

• Don’t forget to pack your swimwear, as each one of our properties has an indoor heated swimming pool, spa and sauna. Our Broadbeach, Southport and Surfers Paradise hotels on the Gold Coast, as well as our Church Street hotel in Parramatta also feature an additional outdoor pool and sun deck.
• We offer one swimming pool at the hotel - an indoor, heated pool available for guests to enjoy year-round.
• complimentary towels are provided in the pool area for your comfort and convenience.
• Our swimming pool is approximately 20 metres in length and is located on Level 12.
• our pool is heated to a comfortable 28 degrees Celsius for your enjoyment.
• 5 am until 10 pm daily

Gym

• Our gym is open 24 hours a day.
• The gym is located on Level 12 and includes two treadmills, two exercise bikes, an elliptical machine, free weights, and a range of strength machines including leg, chest and shoulder machines.

Facilities

• During your stay, you will have access to our indoor pool, spa, sauna, and gym.
• We always aim to keep our photos and descriptions up to date, however facilities can sometimes be upgraded, changed, or temporarily unavailable. If there’s something important to you, it’s best to check with the hotel before booking to ensure it will be available during your stay. Subject to Australian Consumer Law, Meriton Suites isn’t liable for changes or temporary unavailability of facilities, and not all facilities apply to every suite type.

Getting around and local area

If you’re looking for dining options nearby, Doodee King and Mango Coco are both located close to the hotel and are popular choices within walking distance.

The closest coffee shop is Bohäus Café, which is located just a short walk from the hotel.

If you need a convenience store, there is a 7-Eleven located near the Capitol Theatre, also within easy walking distance.

The nearest bottle shop is Liquorland at World Square.

For pharmacy services, Priceline Pharmacy at World Square is the closest option.

If you’d like to visit a pub for a drink, Scruffy Murphy’s Irish Pub is located nearby and is a popular local venue.

The closest supermarket is Coles, located inside the World Square shopping centre.

The closest train station is Central Station, approximately a 6-minute walk from the hotel.

There are several city supermarkets located within close proximity to the hotel, and our team will be happy to direct you to the most convenient option.
