If you’re looking for a relaxed Sydney stay that’s close to everything but away from the busy CBD, Meriton Suites Zetland is a great choice. We’re set on a quiet avenue about four kilometres from the city, making it easy to explore by day and unwind in peace at night.

The location is especially popular with guests heading to events. You’re within easy walking distance of the Entertainment Quarter at Moore Park, as well as Allianz Stadium and the Sydney Cricket Ground, so you can enjoy concerts, shows or sporting matches and stroll home afterwards. Getting into the city is just as easy, with buses nearby connecting you to highlights like The Rocks and the Harbour Bridge.

Right around the corner, guests love the convenience of East Village, just a short walk away, where you’ll find supermarkets, cafés and plenty of great dining options. Everything you need is close at hand.

The suites themselves are spacious, modern and ideal for families, friends or longer stays. Each one includes a full kitchen, internal laundry, free unlimited Wi-Fi and STAYCAST™ streaming. You can relax on your private balcony, enjoy a comfortable king-sized bed and freshen up with KEVIN MURPHY bathroom amenities. There’s a wide range of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom suites, with three-bedroom options perfect for groups of up to six. Each suite has a maximum number of guests permitted to stay overnight, based on existing bedding configurations, as outlined below:

• Studio Suites: up to 2 guests
• One Bedroom Suites: up to 2 guests
• Two Bedroom Suites: up to 4 guests
• Three Bedroom Suites: up to 6 guests
• Three Bedroom Terrace Suites: up to 6 guests

Studio Suites are 43 square metres. 1 Bedroom Suites are 57 square metres. 2 Bedroom Suites are 82 square metres. 3 Bedroom Suites are 97 square metres. 3 Bedroom Terrace Suites are 97 square metres.

• Bathtubs are available in some of our suites. I’d be delighted to add that as a request for you, and we’ll do our very best to accommodate it.

Parking

• Once reception validates your ticket, you’ll be able to come and go as you like during your stay. It’s valid for one vehicle and just needs to be used in order each time you enter and exit.
• The car park has a clearance of 2.2 metres. We do recommend checking the signage at the entrance for any specific height restrictions.
• Onsite parking is available at $35 per vehicle, per night, should you wish to add it to your stay.
• we do have an EV charging station at this hotel. It is operated by WeVolt. Please note that you may need to download their app and have an active account and payment method set up to use the charger. As mobile phone reception can be limited in underground car parks, we recommend setting this up before entering the car park.
• we do have onsite parking available for our hotel guests.
• There is street parking available nearby on Defries Avenue. Parking is generally free for up to four hours between 8 am and 6 pm, with no time limits between 6 pm and 8 am, Monday through to Sunday. Guests should always check the local signage for any parking restrictions.
• You’ll find the car park entrance on Naulty Place, off Defries Avenue.

Pool and wellness

• Don’t forget to pack your swimwear, as each one of our properties has an indoor heated swimming pool, spa and sauna. Our Broadbeach, Southport and Surfers Paradise hotels on the Gold Coast, as well as our Church Street hotel in Parramatta also feature an additional outdoor pool and sun deck.
• We offer one swimming pool at the hotel - an indoor, heated pool available for guests to enjoy year-round.
• complimentary towels are provided in the pool area for your comfort and convenience.
• Our swimming pool is approximately 20 metres in length and is located in Building O on Level 1.
• our pool is heated to a comfortable 26 degrees Celsius for your enjoyment.

Gym

• Our gym is open 24 hours a day.
• The gym is located in Building O on Level 1 and includes equipment such as free weights, treadmills, exercise bikes, a rowing machine, a lat pulldown machine and a leg extension machine.

Facilities

• During your stay, you will have access to our indoor pool, spa, sauna, and gym.
• We always aim to keep our photos and descriptions up to date, however facilities can sometimes be upgraded, changed, or temporarily unavailable. If there’s something important to you, it’s best to check with the hotel before booking to ensure it will be available during your stay. Subject to Australian Consumer Law, Meriton Suites isn’t liable for changes or temporary unavailability of facilities, and not all facilities apply to every suite type.

Getting around and local area

If you’re looking for dining options nearby, the East Village shopping centre is just a short walk from the hotel and offers a wide variety of restaurants including Chinese, Italian, Thai and Japanese cuisine, as well as several cafés.

For coffee, there are multiple cafés located inside East Village, which is approximately a 200 metre walk from the hotel.

If you’re looking for a convenience store, there are options available inside East Village.

The closest bottle shop is also located inside East Village, next to Coles.

For pharmacy services, there is a pharmacy located within East Village as well.

If you’d like to visit a pub for a drink, the Village Crown Pub is located just outside East Village.

The nearest supermarket is Coles, located inside East Village.

The closest train station is Green Square Station, approximately a 15-minute walk from the hotel.

There is a Coles supermarket conveniently located in the East Village Shopping Centre, a short 3-minute walk from the hotel.

Bond

The bond amount depends on the suite type booked, as follows: Studio Suite is $100. 1 Bedroom Suite is $100. 2 Bedroom Suite is $200. 3 Bedroom Suite is $400. 3 Bedroom Terrace Suite is $400.

Laundry

Yes, this service is available for an additional charge, depending on the items. It is a same-day service, operating Monday to Friday. Items must be dropped at Reception by 8 am and will be returned by 5 pm.
