The suites are spacious and thoughtfully designed, with a range of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom options to suit different types of travellers. For something extra special, there are exclusive Penthouse Collection suites on the top floor, along with unique split-level Loft suites. Every suite includes a full kitchen, internal laundry, a comfortable king-sized bed and a modern bathroom stocked with KEVIN MURPHY amenities. In the Penthouse suites, guests also enjoy Balmain Paris bathroom products, GHD styling tools and Nespresso coffee machines.

Studio Suites are 41 square metres. 1 Bedroom Mini Suites are 48 square metres. 1 Bedroom Suites are 52 square metres. 1 Bedroom Rooftop Loft Suites are 63 square metres. 2 Bedroom Suites are 82 square metres. 3 Bedroom Suites are 117 square metres. 1 Bedroom Accessible Suites are 41 to 177 square metres. 3 Bedroom Capital Penthouses are 165 square metres.

• All suite types have a balcony.
• Bathtubs are available in our 1 Bedroom Rooftop Loft Suites, Penthouse Suites and some 2 and 3 Bedroom Suites.
• Some Studio Suites and all Penthouse Suites have a study desk, the other suite types unfortunately do not.

Parking

• Once reception validates your ticket, you’ll be able to come and go as you like during your stay. It’s valid for one vehicle and just needs to be used in order each time you enter and exit.
• The car park has a clearance of 2.1 metres. We do recommend checking the signage at the entrance for any specific height restrictions.
• Limited onsite parking is available at $32 per vehicle, per night, should you wish to add it to your stay. Otherwise our Reception team will be happy to direct you to an external car park within walking distance from the hotel.
• we do have an EV charging station at this hotel. It is operated by Chargefox. Please note that you may need to download their app and have an active account and payment method set up to use the charger. As mobile phone reception can be limited in underground car parks, we recommend setting this up before entering the car park.
• Parking at the hotel must be pre-booked due to limited availability. Parking reservations and pre-payment are completed online through a third-party website, and you will be required to add your vehicle registration details when making the booking. The hotel does not have a driveway or stopping zone at the front. If you have pre-booked parking with us, you will be able to enter the car park from midday on the day of your arrival. If you have not pre-booked parking, there are nearby overflow parking options available. Our guest services team at reception will be happy to assist you with directions and arrangements when you arrive.
• There is some limited street parking available near the hotel on both Allara Street and Nangari Street, however guests should always check the signage for any parking restrictions.
• You’ll find the car park entrance via Rabaul Lane.

Pool and wellness

• Don’t forget to pack your swimwear, as each one of our properties has an indoor heated swimming pool, spa and sauna. Our Broadbeach, Southport and Surfers Paradise hotels on the Gold Coast, as well as our Church Street hotel in Parramatta also feature an additional outdoor pool and sun deck.
• We offer one swimming pool at the hotel - an indoor, heated pool available for guests to enjoy year-round.

• The pool, spa and sauna are open daily from 6 am until 10 pm
• Our swimming pool is approximately 20 metres in length and is located on Level 15

• The gym is available to guests 24 hours a day.
• The gym is located on Level 15 and includes a range of both cardio and strength training equipment, along with a selection of free weights.

Facilities

• During your stay, you will have access to our indoor pool, spa, sauna, and gym.
• We always aim to keep our photos and descriptions up to date, however facilities can sometimes be upgraded, changed, or temporarily unavailable. If there’s something important to you, it’s best to check with the hotel before booking to ensure it will be available during your stay. Subject to Australian Consumer Law, Meriton Suites isn’t liable for changes or temporary unavailability of facilities, and not all facilities apply to every suite type.

Getting around and local area

If you’re looking for dining options nearby, The Meat and Wine Company is located just behind the hotel on London Circuit. The Canberra City dining precinct is also only about a five-minute walk away and offers a wide range of restaurants and dining choices.

The closest coffee shop is Crew Coffee, which is located directly opposite the hotel on Allara Street.

If you need a convenience store, there is one just a few doors down from the hotel. When you exit the lobby, simply turn left and you will see it nearby.

The closest bottle shop is also just a few doors down from the hotel. When leaving the lobby, turn left and it will be along the same street.

The nearest pharmacy is Priceline Pharmacy, which is located about a five-minute walk away inside the lower ground floor of the Canberra Centre.

If you’d like to visit a pub for a drink, King O’Malley’s is around a seven-minute walk from the hotel via City Walk.

The closest supermarkets are Coles and Aldi, both located inside the Canberra Centre, which is approximately an eight-minute walk from the hotel.

The closest train station is Canberra Station, approximately a 15-minute drive from the hotel.

There is an Aldi supermarket conveniently located on Bunda Street, a 8-minute walk from the hotel.

Laundry

Yes, this service is available for an additional charge, depending on the items. It is a same-day service, operating Monday to Friday. Items must be dropped at Reception by 9 am and will be returned by 5 pm.

Property-specific policies

• Pets: We allow small to medium pets in our 1 Bedroom PET Suite only. If a pet is brought into our other suites, we may need to ask for it to be removed or for the stay to end, as it does breach our terms and conditions. Service dogs are absolutely welcome and exempt from this policy.
