The location really gives you the best of the Gold Coast. You can walk to Pacific Fair Shopping Centre for shopping and dining, head across to The Star Gold Coast for a night out, or stroll to the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre if you’re here for a conference or event. Everything is close, so many guests love leaving the car behind.

Families especially enjoy staying here thanks to the spacious, apartment-style suites and how easy it is to get around. From the hotel, it’s simple to visit the region’s famous theme parks like Movie World, Sea World and Dreamworld, or enjoy nearby attractions such as Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and beachside playgrounds. If you prefer a slower pace, Kurrawa Beach is just around the corner for swimming, picnics and relaxed family meals at the surf club.

Each suite has a maximum number of guests permitted to stay overnight, based on existing bedding configurations, as outlined below:

• Three Bedroom Ocean Luxe Suites: up to 6 guests

Studio Street Suites are 49 square metres. Studio Luxe Suites are 63 square metres. Studio Ocean Luxe Suites are 63 square metres. 1 Bedroom Luxe Suites are 70 square metres. 1 Bedroom Ocean Luxe Suites are 70 square metres. 2 Bedroom Luxe Suites are 99 square metres. 2 Bedroom Ocean Luxe Suites are 99 square metres. 3 Bedroom Ocean Luxe Suites are 143 square metres.

The following suites are located of these floors / levels. Studio Street Suites all located on the ground level. Studio Luxe Suites located on levels 4 to 11. Studio Ocean Luxe Suites located on levels 11 to 29. 1 Bedroom Luxe Suites located on levels 4 to 23. 1 Bedroom Ocean Luxe Suites located on levels 11 to 29. 2 Bedroom Luxe Suites located on levels 4 to 27. 2 Bedroom Ocean Luxe Suites located on levels 11 to 27. 3 Bedroom Ocean Luxe Suites located on levels 11 to 17.

• Some 1 Bedroom Suites have a study desk, the other suite types unfortunately do not.

Parking

• Once reception validates your ticket, you’ll be able to come and go as you like during your stay. It’s valid for one vehicle and just needs to be used in order each time you enter and exit.
• The car park has a clearance of 2.1 metres. We do recommend checking the signage at the entrance for any specific height restrictions.
• Onsite parking is available at $15 per vehicle, per night, should you wish to add it to your stay.
• Unfortunately, this hotel does not currently offer an EV charging station onsite. Our Front Desk team will be happy to assist you in locating charging facilities nearby. Alternatively, if you have an EV charging app, it should be able to show you the closest charging station to the hotel.
• we do have onsite parking available for our hotel guests.
• There is some street parking available in the nearby residential streets, however it is quite limited, so guests should always check the local signage for any restrictions.
• You’ll find the car park entrance on Surf Parade.

Pool and wellness

• Don’t forget to pack your swimwear, as each one of our properties has an indoor heated swimming pool, spa and sauna. Our Broadbeach, Southport and Surfers Paradise hotels on the Gold Coast, as well as our Church Street hotel in Parramatta also feature an additional outdoor pool and sun deck.
• The hotel has two swimming pools. One indoor pool which is approximately 20 metres in length, and one outdoor pool which is approximately 16 metres long. Both are located on the ground floor.
• we have an outdoor pool open and available to all of our hotel guests. Our outdoor pool is approximately 16 metres long and is located on the ground floor.
• complimentary towels are provided in the pool area for your comfort and convenience.
• both our indoor and outdoor pools are heated to a comfortable 28 degrees Celsius for your enjoyment.
• The indoor pool is open 5 am until 10 pm daily with the outdoor pool open 6 am until 9 pm daily.

Gym

• Our gym is open 24 hours a day.
• The gym is located on the ground floor and includes a range of equipment such as treadmills, exercise bikes, an elliptical trainer, an interval machine, multi-station and press machines, free weights, as well as yoga mats and medicine balls.

Facilities

• During your stay, you will have access to our indoor pool, outdoor pool, spa, sauna, and gym.
• We always aim to keep our photos and descriptions up to date, however facilities can sometimes be upgraded, changed, or temporarily unavailable. If there’s something important to you, it’s best to check with the hotel before booking to ensure it will be available during your stay. Subject to Australian Consumer Law, Meriton Suites isn’t liable for changes or temporary unavailability of facilities, and not all facilities apply to every suite type.

Getting around and local area

If you’re looking for dining options nearby, there are many great restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Some popular choices include Hideaway Kitchen and Bar for Asian fusion, Blowfish for seafood, Moo Moo’s Steakhouse, Cora for Mediterranean cuisine, Mamasan for Asian fusion, Kost for Australian and Mediterranean dining, and Social Eating House and Bar which offers international share plates. King Palace Chinese Restaurant is also located onsite within the building.

For coffee, there are a couple of cafés located onsite including Leafe Café and Goya Café. Nearby options also include No Name Lane Coffee and Maddisons Coffee Shop located in the Oasis Shopping Centre.

If you need a convenience store, there is a 7-Eleven located onsite which is open 24 hours. You will also find Woolworths in the Oasis Shopping Centre.

The closest bottle shop is BWS, located in the Oasis Shopping Centre.

For pharmacy services, Priceline Pharmacy is also located in the Oasis Shopping Centre.

If you’d like to visit a pub or bar for a drink, the Beach Hotel is located next door on Surf Parade. Other nearby options include The Loose Moose and Broadbeach Tavern, both located within the Oasis Shopping Centre.

The nearest supermarket is Woolworths in the Oasis Shopping Centre, which is just a short walk from the hotel.

The hotel is approximately a 6-minute walk from both the Broadbeach North and Broadbeach South stations.

There is a Woolworths supermarket conveniently located on Surf Parade, a short 4-minute walk from the hotel.

Laundry

Yes, this service is available for an additional charge, depending on the items. Operating on Monday, Wednesday and Friday only, items must be dropped at Reception by 9 am and will be returned the following day.
